Specific task is to work in developing and managing all of the plant health and safety functions.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop, manage, and implement all plant health and safety programs
• Manage all plant health and safety procedures, reports, and documentation.
• Interface with OSHA and all related state and federal agencies related to health and safety issues
• Establish goals, objectives, document controls, performance measurements, and monitoring as it related to all health and safety issues at the plant
• Review of all safety investigations and any corrective actions
• Conduct all inspections and internal audits
• Analyze all plant Health and safety data
• Create all documents and report compliance with OSHAS 18001
• Perform other health and safety related tasks as assigned by Supervisor

SALARY
Pay is based on experience. Salary is expected to be in the $60000.00 to 80,000 range.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
• BS- in related field. Desire a degree in Environmental, safety, Engineering, or Health Science
• 3-5 years of related experience in a plant setting
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and DOT regulations
• Good communication and computer skills
• Excellent presentation skills using excel, powerpoint, and word
• Desired- Some Spanish speaking skills
