We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Labor and Delivery registered nurse in the beautiful Northwest. Our hospital is located halfway in between Seattle and Tacoma in the affordable community of Auburn. We have no state income tax and our nurses are paid some of the best wages in the nation. Saltwater beaches are 4 miles from the hospital, and the largest ski resort in the state is one hour away.

Our ideal candidate will have charge nurse experience in their background and experience in a level II NICU. This position is full time NIGHTS, but we pay a $4 shift differential for that.

Description: Provides direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery setting. Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient's clinical condition including: fetal monitoring and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Performs general nursing duties in all Maternal Child Health departments with adequate supervision. Participates in performance improvement activities.

- Postpartum and newborn care experience.
- Successful completion of Resuscitation Program (Must obtain within 90 days of hire).
- BCLS
- ACLS (Must obtain within 90 days of hire)
- For Nurses working in Labor Delivery
- Labor/delivery experience
- Biannual attendance at fetal monitoring course.

Base Salary - $65,000 - $95,000
