Summary

The QA Engineer will be responsible for developing and executing manual and automated test plans. You will have the opportunity to join a young, dynamic, fast growing Quality Assurance team dedicated to building a world-class organization at one of the fastest growing companies in NYC. We’re looking for somebody with a real passion for the software quality assurance process. This position reports to our VP of Engineering in our New York offices.

Responsibilities

• Create test plans and test cases
• Execute manual and automated test cases
• Develop SQL statements to execute back-end validations
• Participate in product requirement and technical meetings
• Report testing status to technology and business teams
• Review issues submitted by other teams and provide additional information as necessary
• Provide support to the Customer Service organization
• Meet with engineering and product teams to understand site functionality

Qualifications and Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance in a web-based environment
• 1+ years of experience in automated testing
• Proficient in SQL
• Excellent oral, written, presentation and diagnosis skills
