Stanley Access Technologies is the leading manufacturer, installer, and service provider in the automatic door business. To promote the continuation of our quality reputation and focused growth, we are currently hiring the best talent available for the position of Quality Associate at our Farmington, CT Location.

The Quality Associate will be responsible for internal audits, providing dimensional layout services, and supporting the plant objectives through continuous improvement projects.

Job Description:
1. Performing dimensional, mechanical and simple electrical inspections.
2. First article inspection for purchased, in-process and finished parts.
3. CMM layout and programming (CMM experience is REQUIRED)
4. Working with plant teams on quality and productivity improvements.
5. Working with manufacturing engineers to resolve assembly and test issues.
6. Supporting supplier nonconformance system, including coordinating supplier corrective action response and follow up.
7. Responsible for maintaining current calibration status on test and measuring equipment.
8. Responsible for internal audits.
9. Performing other tasks as required.

Requirements (you must meet all of these requirements to be considered):
* Minimum 2 years experience in assembly or machine shop inspection.
* Skilled with CMM and Comparator layout.
* Skilled at reading and interpreting blueprints, including GD&T.
* Experienced with application of continuous improvement tools, like SPC, FMEA, etc. Six Sigma project experience preferred.
* Experience and results while working on process, product or quality improvement teams.
* Good knowledge of ISO9000 system, including conducting or leading internal audit.
* Certified Mechanical Inspector certification from ASQ preferred.
* Ability and willingness to learn.
* Ability to work in a fast pased environment.
* Must be reliable.
* Computer skills a must - Microsoft Office.
* SAP experience preferred
* Strong attention to detail

Education Requirements:
* Minimum two year college, Associate degree. Bachelor's degree preferred.
