Headway Corporate Resources is currently seeking a Project Manager for a client in the St. Louis, MO area. This is a direct hire position offering $70,000 per year. The position summary and requirements are as followsPOSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for implementing medium to large business projects or segments of projects that are moderately complex often with a technical component. Ability to effectively work between business and technical areas to achieve goals and objectives set forth by senior leadership.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in business operations, project management and/or healthcare is preferred. Master’s degree a plus.
Experience: 4 years of operational leadership experience and 2 years of healthcare environment experience is desired. A minimum of 2 years project management experience encompassing small to medium projects is required. A minimum experience of 2 years in a supervisory or management role is desired.
Licensure/Certification: Requires proven experience using project management methodology (PMBOK).
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Leads project teams within a matrix environment to achieve defined goals and objectives for highly complex business projects.
• Translates goals into implementation tactics and serves as a change agent between business and technical units to deliver results.
• Completes business case development activities for medium to large projects: develops business case, project profile, business requirements, and other required project work products.
• Ensures detailed planning activities are complete for medium to large projects or a segment of large projects. Includes developing detailed work plans as well as quality, risk, and communication plans.
• Monitors and controls implementation activities for medium to large projects or a segment of a large project to ensure project objectives are met.
• Ensures project closure activities are complete including evaluating project success, identifying and communicating lessons learned, ensuring transitions activities are complete, and archiving project files.
