The PROJECT MANAGEMENT LEADER will be accountable for the strategic development, execution and sustained performance of our global project management capability and project execution processes. This role will also be accountable for the direct leadership of 8 members of the IT project management team. The Global IT portfolio includes our major investments in IT infrastructure, computing platforms, ERP systems, customer facing technology, collaboration, marketing and manufacturing and ranges from $15-20MM year over year. The IT project management team executes about 80% of our Global IT spend and ensures that the business outcomes are fully achieved. The successful candidate must exhibit strong project management fundamentals, a solid working knowledge of IT systems and applications, a keen ability to identify and articulate the connection between technology and business opportunity, a proven track record of leading major change and strong leadership and alignment skills.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following outcomes:
• Align project management resources to execute our annual portfolio
• Leadership and vision setting of our long term strategy globally, including standards and best practices, operating models, and governance models for project execution
• Leadership and development of our project management team, including growth and development plans, talent analysis and performance management
• Development of solid communications plans and processes for project execution
• Management and development of our third party resources and alliances
• Management and control of capital and expense budgets in support of the IT portfolio

As part of the Information Systems group, the Leader, Project Management will be accountable to the Director, Global IT Initiatives. This position may require occasional international travel outside the US in support of our global project management capability.

Requirements:
• Business or IT-related degree required
• 10 years experience in a global project execution
• Large project delivery - $1MM++
• 3rd party relationship management
• Experience with project and portfolio management processes (PPM)
• Change leadership experience in business processes and IT
• Experience leading teams of project management professionals.
• PMP certification would be advantageous
