The Army Research Laboratory has an immediate opening for a postdoctoral scientist/ engineer to work in the area of plasma engineering. The successful candidate will develop novel polymer and inorganic coatings via plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD). Experience in materials characterization, gas phase diagnostics and thin film deposition are highly desired. The applicants are expected to have a Ph.D. in physics, chemistry, and chemical engineering or in closely related fields.
