Licensed Physical Therapy Assistants

Locations in Virginia: Charlottesville, Richmond, Covington, Suffolk, Hampton, Williamsburg, Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and Chesapeake.
Salary: Based on your experience

Reports to the team coordinator. Administers physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a physical therapist; provides education and information to patients and caregivers; participates in required discharge
planning and completes all required documentation according to policy. May be assigned other duties such as clinical instructor for student affiliations, performance improvement, and program development. Must be a
graduate of an approved program for physical therapy assistants. Must have current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Virginia or be licensure eligible. Other requirements include BLS completion within 3
months of hire. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to operate and apply therapeutic equipment; ability to lift/push/pull light to heavy equipment, supplies, and patients; creativity
and problem solving skills.

REQUIREMENT
1. Bachelor in Physical Therapy Assistant from an American Physical Therapy Association accredited program.
2. Must have a current license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of
Virginia or be licensure eligible.
3. BLS completion within 3 months of hire.
