Security On Campus, Inc. is a national non-profit organization that is dedicated to safe campuses for college and university students. SOC offers a free peer education program called Safe On Campus. Through this program, college students travel to local high schools to give presentations on alcohol abuse and sexual assault to seniors. Training for the Peer Educator position will be conducted online through a webinar.

Peer Educators are paid $25 per every 45 minute presentation that they give. Often, there are multiple presentations in a given day.

Positions are open in the following counties: Carbon, Monroe, Lackawanna, Lehigh, Luzerne, and Northampton. Please note in your e-mail which counties you would be willing to travel to.

Presentations are scheduled by the Peer Education Campus Outreach Coordinator for the above counties. When a presentation is scheduled, Peer Educators that have expressed interest in working in that county will be e-mailed.

Please note that you MUST be a CURRENT COLLEGE STUDENT to apply for the Peer Educator position.
