Specific Responsibilities

* Create and nurture positive strategic relationships to win business in new accounts.
* Provide excellent support to customers beginning with the quoting process continuing through the final delivery of the order.
* Propose and develop creative new programs to strengthen our market share.
* Promptly follow up on sales quotes generated through the Inside Sales group.
* Provide timely feedback on market, customer and competitive activity influencing the industry.
* Work jointly with the operations team to develop new products offerings, improve customer satisfaction, and increase efficiencies.
* Participates in the development of financial solutions regarding account issues.
* Continually develop prospects to guarantee future sales growth at a rate that meets or exceeds corporate objectives.
* Investigate and resolve all customer claims promptly.

Qualifications & Required Skills

* Minimum 3-5 years of outside sales experience in the corrugated packaging industry.
* 4 year degree or equivalent experience required.
* Excellent sales and negotiating skills to succeed in capturing the business.
* High level of professionalism with the ability to work independently and set goals.
* Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills a must.
* Strong analytical skills and familiarity with MS Office software.
