Certified Ophthalmic Assistant to work in New Bern office two to three days per week as needed. Should be able to perform all basic skills under direction of ophthalmolgist. Should be familiar with ophthalmic equipment, medical supplies and equipment and able to use an electronic medical record. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a JRCOMP-approved Ophthalmic Assistant educational program; or one year of experience as an Ophthalmic Assistant; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
