Northland Hospice is seeking certified caregivers to provide direct care to residents at the Olivia White Hospice Home. Duties include bathing, toileting, transfers, medication administration, meal preparation/assistance, resident activities, cleaning, laundry, and maintainance of accurate patient documentation. Additionally, caregivers will be responsible for promoting the dignity of each resident, completeing annual training, and meeting HIPPA requirements.
The Olivia White Hospice Home is a 10-bed assisted living facility that provides end of life care to terminally-ill patients. The Olivia White Hospice Home is a 24-hour facility with three shifts (day, evening and night) per day.
Qualified candidates should have certification though an approved Caregiver course in Arizona or be a Certified Nursing Assistant. Applicants should also have current CPR certification, First Aid certification, and Fingerprint Clearance Card. Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 3 months of health care experience.
