Workers Comp Insurance company in the San Diego area has an immediate need for a Medical Case Manager.
-Will be responsible for the analysis and management of medical issues and treatment in workers' compensation claims.
-Will be working closely with a Work Comp Examiner to manage medical throughout the life of the claim.
-Coordinates ancillary services, maintains professional client relationships, will handle utilization review, and medical & disability management.
-MUST have 5+ years nurse case management experience and understanding of laws for California workers’ compensation.
-MUST have knowledge of ACOEM guidelines as well as ICD-9 and CPT codes.
-Position requires strong written, verbal, organizational and negotiation skills.
-Bachelor’s degree and professional designation required.
