New local Jacksonville Zine "E.C.F.U." will be featuring a different up and coming local band each month. Here's what I'm looking for....You must be a local band from Jax/St Augustine/Orange Park, Have material for me to review (this can be home or studio recorded), fit into the criteria of the zine (i.e. Punk/Hardcore/Ska/Hip Hop/Indie...in other words, please fit into an underground scene, not looking for "corporate rock", or major acts, I already have major labels sending me albums for review. Also, I'll need you to have your demo/ep/album pressed (home or professional), a email address, phone number, picture of your band, and some basic info (members names/influences/shows you've played and so on). We press once a month and hand out at all independently owned business, bars, clubs, coffee shops, book stores, venues, studios, shows. If chosen to be featured you will receive copies to give out or keep, a half page feature which will include: a review of your album, a picture, a bio, and maybe an interview (if we really like you)...this is your chance to shine, if you have some great work recorded, everyone in Jax will know about it, we love great local music! And will push for you as hard as possible! Please Email me to be considered (no myspace or on-line sites will be reviewed)
