Responsibilities:The server engineer/architect is responsible for the correct setup, design, implementation and operational support of physical and virtual Microsoft server technology. Duties include high end troubleshooting of hardware, software and application issues. Maintain engineering servers and support terminal servers and printers. Install servers, storage devices and manage server backups and maintenance. Manage server security, permissions, group memberships and user rights.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years experience working as a Server architect, server 2003
VMWare
Experience with HP Blade Technology
MCSE is required
SQL 2000-2005
Microsoft SharePoint
Experience working in a distributed shared service environment
Experience within a manufacturing environment
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, or related discipline
US Citizenship is required
