All Medical Personnel is currently seeking a Microbiology Supervisor with extensive management experience in Springfield, OR. This is a full time/direct hire opportunity working for a leader in the healthcare laboratory industry.

Job Description:

Directs the daily workflow for the Microbiology department
Mentors and coaches microbiology staff to ensure quality performance.
Oversees all aspects of performance management including regular evaluations for staff and scheduling.
Ensures that procedures and methods are performed according to section protocol, including quality control parameters and result reporting.
Monitors the troubleshooting of equipment and software used in work area.
Collaborate with Specimen Management department with regard to specimen delivery, handling, storage and orders as appropriate.
Requirements
Certification as a MT or MLT (ASCP or equivalent).
Proficient in bacteriology, preferred experience in virology, mycology, mycobacteriology, parasitology.
Years experience in microbiology - 5 years
Years experience in lead/supervisor/manager position minimum of 2 years
