Job Title: Medical Technologist (Blood Bank Supervisor)
Location: Roswell, NM
Duration: Full Time
Shift: Day Shift
Forecasted paid hours per shift 8
Forecasted hours per pay week 40
Employee Status Full-time

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Provides physicians with accurate and reliable results necessary for the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Prepares clinical samples for analysis and storage. Will also act as the Blood Bank Supervisor.

Education:

- Bachelor Degree plus completion of accredited Medical Technology school.
- Certification as Medical Technologist by ASCP is must

Experience/Abilities:
- Able to meet sensory requirements of the job.
- Capable of performing all laboratory tests and related calculations.
- - Able to participate in laboratory Quality Assurance Program.
- - Ability to perform phlebotomy services as required.

Must Have:

- Bachelor's degree in MT
- Certified MT by ASCP
- preferred 1 year supervisor experience
