Features & Description

Civil engineering firm is seeking a highly motivated office and marketing assistant. Duties will include research, writing and preparing technical proposals, tracking RFQ and RFP responses, updating website, creating monthly newsletter, assisting with office administrative tasks and taking on additional tasks as needed. Individual must be goal oriented and self-motivated with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be proficient in using Microsoft Word, Outlook BCM, Excel and Adobe Acrobat. Experience with marketing or technical writing is also preferred. Creative ability and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, CMS (Joomla), Online Marketing, SEO, and Social Networking is also desired.

Duties:
•Write and produce technical proposals and statement of qualifications
•Research and write project descriptions
•Update website and marketing materials
•Create monthly newsletter
•Assist with general office administrative duties
Required traits and skills:
•Self-motivation
•Time management
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills
•Proof reading/editing skills
•Ability to learn quickly
•Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook BCM
•Familiarity with online marketing and updating websites using CMS
