Ty "Ruffington" is a Shih Tzu with a wonderful demeanor who is looking for a loving home. He was born December 2007 and he has been with our family since he was 12 weeks old. Ty is wonderful with children and although we do not have other pets in the home he gets along with the many dog friends that visit with him. Ty loves walks and playing in the snow or can be content just sitting in your lap.From early on Ty seemed to us to not be completely well. Our family visited Dr. Swieckowski in June of this year and the Doctor diagnosed Ty with Addison's disease. With proper treatment Ty has thrived and can have a long happy life. He does require a DOCP shot every 21-24($39) days and daily medications along with follow-up visits that may at times require some blood work with 6 month vet check. Monthly med's run $16 to $20 Ty's monthly care added to our past veterinarian charges has placed our family in a difficult financial position.
We are hoping for a loving home that will open their hearts and home to a dog who will be a loving companion and best friend just as he has been to us. If this is a possibility I can provide farther details. We will do home and reference check and prior or current vet check.
