The Maintenance Manager is responsible for providing leadership and technical expertise to the plant maintenance function in order to optimize line and plant performances.

Key responsibilities include the following: drive employee engagement through effective coaching and development of the maintenance team, both salaried and hourly; develop and enhance preventive maintenance program; develop and implement the strategic vision and direction to improve manufacturing reliability and minimize breakdown maintenance; identify and resolve recurring downtime or inefficient operational issues; evaluate cost saving opportunities and improvements for equipment to increase longevity and reliability; lead the continual improvement and integration of the CMMS (Maximo); manage maintenance budget; develop and maintain strong internal and external working relationships.

The successful candidate will have the following: eight to ten years maintenance experience within the food and/or beverage industry; experience leading groups of 10 or more; and demonstrated knowledge of both mechanical and electrical competencies. The ability to troubleshoot and develop preventative plans is critical. Experience within a union environment is also helpful. Bachelors Degree.
