The book was published in 1979 by Time, Inc. It has 204 pages of the most wonderful photographs you may ever see! It covers a small part of the collection of photographs taken the first ten years of LIFE Magazines publication from 1936-1945. Some of the photographers include Robert Capa, Margaret Bourke-White, Gjon Mili, Ansel Adams, Charles Sheeler, Gordon Coster, Horace Bristol, Myron Davis and many others.

Some of the photographs include:

* 1942 Raymond Buell running for Republication nomination for a Massachusetts Congressional Seat

* 1939 Duke and Duchess of Winsor at a boxing match

* 1943 Betty Grabel models a coat decorated with Army Corps and rank insignia.

The soft cover book is in very good condition inside and out. The outer cover has some very light wear to the edges and corners of the cover. The interior pages are extremely clean.
