Description

This is an exciting opportunity to have a big impact use of the Internet and other channels for managing and distributing its message. The Lead Program Manager is a highly skilled, highly visible senior technology leader who is responsible for managing the technology strategy and vision for the content management and publishing systems. This person will lead the strategy for leveraging current and emerging content-related trends including XML, streaming video and audio, podcasting, social networking, community contributed content, mobile/SMS channels, etc.

The Lead Program Manager is also fully responsible for managing and overseeing customer relations and prioritization amongst various departments, organizations, and senior councils, interfacing at all organizational levels. This person understands the mission, objectives, directions, priorities, global and local operating issues, personnel, and organizational structures associated with the content systems. This person works closely with senior management from various departments that are involved in content management activities. The Lead Program Manager is responsible for analyzing business processes and forming a technology strategy that supports these processes. This person oversees multiple projects by ensuring that solutions meets quality expectations in terms of functionality, timeline, cost, architecture, and performance. The Lead Program Manager manages a team of technical program managers and support staff and is the primary contact for all IT solutions for the Facilities IT portfolio.

Qualifications

• • Must have substantial technology leadership experience implementing content management systems including Web Content Management, Document Management, Digital Asset Management,

Translation Management, etc.

• Requires an excellent knowledge of current trends and technologies in enterprise content management, web content management and content distribution.

• Requires a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems, or a related field - Master's degree preferred

• Must have at least 12 years of experience in information technology

• 5+ years experience leading large content management projects

• 5+ years team management experience.
