My background is in administration and accounting and I was a partner in a civil construction company for 11 years. During this time my partner and I would work for a few months and then we sailed our yacht progressively around the world for the rest of the year. We had houses in Sydney, the Sunshine Coast as well as our home on the water, which was a luxurious 45Ã¢ ketch. So for about 10 years I was a cruising sailor with an abundant lifestyle. Who could ask for more? When my partner and I went separate ways in 2000, I had just 3 weeks before adopted a baby from Vietnam and my life as a single mum began. Our property settlement took 6 years to finalise and in the meantime I lived on the single parent pension with all assets frozen. I had experienced 5 star living and was determined to create wealth and abundance again in my life. My determination to be successful, to be financially independent and to be free to raise my children on my own has been my driving force. I started with Polaris in October, 2007. By then I had 2 children, aged 3 and 7. I knew that this business was exactly what I had been looking for and I made a decision to be a Rising Star on the day I began my Beyond Freedom, in fact I wrote it in my journal with a drawing of a big Star!
The personal development training I have received through the program and the training sessions shines through as who I am now: determined, directed, assertive and above all...happy. My family has extended now to include my partner, Neil, and between us, 5 children. We will be married in Feb, 2010. We now live on our 23 acre property just near Canberra and we have a holiday house at Dolphin Point, on the south coast of NSW. I know that I have created this brilliant life for myself and my family because of the way I think. My goals are totally about what is important to me, and that is what I stress when I speak to my prospects: I find out what they want in their life and offer them a way to achieve their goals. I truly love being a part of and serving our Polaris community, it has become a way of life for me. I achieved my Rising Star Award in September, 2008, within 10 months of being in the business, and in August, 2009, I earned $100 K profit in just one week! I am thrilled about my results and it is so exciting to pass on to anyone who is serious about creating wealth in their life that anyone can do this, if only you are willing to follow the system and the leaders, and commit to your own success, no excuses!!
