Do I Have To Go To Work?!?!

Man, I have asked myself that question many a time and I am sure others have asked themselves that very same question as well. But why is that the case, why are there so many individuals asking that question on a daily bases? Have you ever thought about that, that's kind of mind boggling don't you think? Well if you stop and think for a second the reasons why are not that surprising. In general most people have a job that they simply don't want or care for; I mean it pays the bills, namely the rent, cable, and cell phone. If you don't have to take a second job to cover ALL of your living exspenses!!! Isn't there supposed to be more to a job? Ok so what is a job? The truth is a job is basically Just Over Broke, that is what a J-O-B is. So with the economy at risk there's no more overtime, no stable healthcare available, or pay raises either. A 40 a week job now, has no more guarantees! What happens when you're sick or have to miss time, can you afford to be either of those? Is my only choice available to take up a second job and miss precious time away from my family? Are those the first questions you must ask yourself before reporting in daily, man that stinks!!!! Or your boss (or bosses), maybe a co-workers are giving you trouble, more likely because they to are going through the same situation as well, but they don't know how to deal with it. I remember going through all of those situations and the economy was NOT as bad as it IS NOW!! Because of the recent down turns of the markets as of Sept. and Oct. 2008, most 40 hours a week jobs are laying people off left and right. As of 11-07-08 COX Cable is laying of 2% of its employees effective this November, just before the Holiday Season. Another one was an Airline company laying off its workers, HFC (Loans and Mortgage Company) laying off some of its employees again this month (Nov. 2008), there are many, many more doing the same right now. Plus there are many, many more lay-offs expected for 2009!!!!. So to name them all would take some time but you get my point, a 40 hour a week job now, basically has no guarantees as of late. What happens when your Just Over Broke, I mean JOB let's you go, where can you turn? If I didn't know that answer I would not be writing this article, so I will tell you.

Now that's too much at risk with lay-offs pending, not to mention home foreclosures, there just so much it's too much right now. It's making my head hurt thinking about it because I have been through that before as well, I am just glad I found Work At Home United when I did.
