IPC certified SMT tech, Assembly tech, AOI tech and test technician

1. Location: This position is located at the Streamwood, IL facility.
2. Purpose of Position
Candidate must be able to perform technical assignments using manufacturing practices and principles in a fast paced lean manufacturing environment. Area of focus is in the Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) area and may include SMT, Thru-Hole machine operation, Inspection, RoHS process, new product development initiatives, and additional supporting functions as needed.

3. Key Responsibilities
Demonstrates ability to perform as a self-starter to drive continuous improvement efforts in areas of responsibility. Continually seeks new opportunities to improve.
Develop and de-bug SMT assembly and / or AOI / GenRad test programs for production test equipment and printed circuit boards (PCB’s).
Read design concept drawings, implementation schedules for production equipment and tooling.
Implementation of RoHS initiatives within the factory
4. Relationships
Reports to a PCBA Team Leader or plant Manager
Works directly with Manufacturing Engineers, Senior Test Engineers, Design Engineers, Cell Operators, and Members of Management
5. Measures of Performance

Product quality, as measured by internal yield

6. Background and Skills
Minimum three (5) years of specifically related experience preferred.
Knowledge and experience with lean tools and principles would be beneficial.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Experience with AutoCAD /Cam 350 preferred but not required.
Experience with Fuji / Juki pick and place equipment and / or AOI test equipment required
