Due to a back injury from a traumatic accident a year ago, I am forced to sell 2 of my horses.Tank $2000 obo
8 y/o 14.2h Quarter Horse (no papers). He is a very easy keeper and doesn't require shoes (front only if you prefer) has been shod/trimmed on "the natural way" for 2 years. He is UTD on all shots, coggins, floating, worming, and trimming. He is a perfect angel on the ground and has been used for lessons. He is currently being used as a ground lesson horse to teach small kids horse safety and ground work. His youngest student is a 3y/o girl and he absolutely loves her. He has NOT been ridden consistently in a year. Tank has basic roping skills in both heading and healing (hasn't been finished but showed great talent). He is very forgiving to his riders which makes him great for beginners. However he will need a very quick refresher course (a back injury has left me unable to ride). He was owned and trained by the same couple from birth until he was 6 where he worked cattle on their ranch in La Vernia. He was then sold to a trainer who started him roping for competitions but she was progressing faster than him. She owned him for a year and I bought him to use lessons for extreme beginners. He has a great trot and lots of power behind him at the lope. Doesn't spook on trails and rides great both in the arena and round pen. Can be lounged on the line and off. Has no issues with distractions and takes care of his riders. He is great with all horses even when they bully him. He is in a pasture with 3 cranky mares and 2 yearlings. He also has been turned out with our goats, guard dogs, llamas, and miniature horses.
