As an Installation Merchandiser, you will be responsible for working with an installation team on store fixture installation of new stores, store remodels, store relocations and product revisions. Installation activities include moving card departments, building fixtures and merchandising product. You may be required to work with a variety of tools including but not limited to hammers, screwdrivers, box cutters and possible power tools. The position offers varied hours depending on installation activities. You may not be scheduled for work when there are no installations scheduled.

Most installations will occur Monday-Friday during daytime hours. There may be some installation activities outside your immediate area, if this occurs, you may be asked to carpool with other installation team members. If an overnight stay is required, you may be asked to share a hotel room with a same-sex installation team member.

The ideal candidate will be a quick learner who can work as part of a team and/or independently in a busy retail environment. You must be willing to work a varied work schedule. The position reports to an Installation Leader.

This is a physically demanding job that can require a high level of labor and energy. The physical retail environment is varied and may include work in a back stockroom with limited lighting and less than ideal conditions.

As an Installation Merchandiser, you will be working on installations at Walmart stores within a 60 mile radius of Hatfield, PA. You will service Walmart stores in Hatfield, North Wales, Lansdale, Montgomeryville, Chalfont and surrounding areas. You will be reporting to an Installation Leader and will typically carpool with him/her for any jobs over 20 miles away. The number of hours and days of the week that you are scheduled will be determined based upon what installations are scheduled. There may be some weeks in which no work is scheduled and other weeks where you will be scheduled for multiple installations. You will need to have the flexibility to work as needed. If traveling, you must be available to work up to a 10 hour shift. You must have reliable transportation to various stores as assigned. There will be no seasonal work for this position except during the week of Nov. 16-20. Down time for this position is two weeks prior to Thanksgiving through Valentineâs Day. Busy periods are between May and October. If interested, additional work is available to help out the retail merchandisers during the holiday season and to cover vactions/sick time when needed.
