As an Installation Leader, you will be supervising a group of installation merchandisers to complete installation activities including moving card departments, building fixtures and/or merchandising product. You will be responsible for performance management, motivation, and training of installation merchandisers. You will also be responsible for managing installation budgets, travel budgets, and all other costs associated with installations. The position offers varied hours depending on installation activities. You may not be scheduled for work when there are no installations scheduled. Your participation in overnight installation activities may be required.

The ideal candidate will possess solid organizational and administrative skills, be a strong team leader, and be able to delegate activities to other team members as necessary. The ability to manage conflicts as they arise at store level and with assigned personnel is critical.

This is a physically demanding job that can require a high level of labor and energy. The physical retail environment is varied and may include work in a back stockroom with limited lighting and less than ideal conditions

Upon arriving home, you must transmit the information captured on your INFOLink to report your time worked and the activities you completed on your service call. There are 2 options for the transmission of the data. You will place your INFOLink unit into a cradle that will be provided to you. The cradle must then be connected either to a phone jack that carries analog phone service or an open port on a wireless router that is connected to an Ethernet (high-speed) computer line. You must have one of these two options in your home in order to complete the transmission.

As an Installation Leader, you will be a supervisor over all installation services that take place at over 30 CVS stores within a 75 mile radius of Hartford, CT. You territory will also require you to driving into and covering the entire Hartford area in all parts of the city north toward Mass and east toward the coast. The number of hours and days of the week that you are scheduled will be determined based upon what installations are scheduled. There may be some weeks in which no work is scheduled and other weeks where you will be scheduled for multiple installations. You will need to have the flexibility to work as needed. There will be no seasonal work. Down time for this position is two weeks prior to Thanksgiving through Christmas week. Busy periods are between May and October. Any hours in 2009 will be training with TA's and IL's and doing admin work, but hours will be minimal. Hours will truly begin the first week of January.
