As an Installation Leader, you will be supervising a group of installation merchandisers to complete installation activities including moving card departments, building fixtures and/or merchandising product. You will be responsible for performance management, motivation, and training of installation merchandisers. You will also be responsible for managing installation budgets, travel budgets, and all other costs associated with installations. The position offers varied hours depending on installation activities. You may not be scheduled for work when there are no installations scheduled. Your participation in overnight installation activities may be required.

The ideal candidate will possess solid organizational and administrative skills, be a strong team leader, and be able to delegate activities to other team members as necessary. The ability to manage conflicts as they arise at store level and with assigned personnel is critical.

This is a physically demanding job that can require a high level of labor and energy. The physical retail environment is varied and may include work in a back stockroom with limited lighting and less than ideal conditions. You will be required to regularly lift and carry up to 100 pounds.

Upon arriving home, you must transmit the information captured on your INFOLink to report your time worked and the activities you completed on your service call. You must have consistent and reliable access to an analog phone line in order to complete this transmission. You will place your unit into a cradle that will be provided to you. The cradle must be connected to a phone jack that carries analog phone service. Analog phone service is basic telephone service provided by the local telephone company. The transmission cannot be completed through cellular service or through digital service. If you have phone service through an internet provider such as Time Warner, Comcast or Cox, you most likely do not have analog service.

As an Installation Leader, you will be a supervisor over all installation services that take place at approximately 25 Walgreen stores within a 120 mile radius of Nashville, TN. Some stores may be as far as 2 hrs away. You may have installations as far South as Spring Hill and as far SE as Chattanooga. The number of hours and days of the week that you are scheduled will be determined based upon what installations are scheduled. There may be some weeks in which no work is scheduled and other weeks where you will be scheduled for multiple installations. You will need to have the flexibility to work as needed. All installations start at 8 am and can take 8 - 10 hours to complete.
