Icanbuy, a developer of Financial and Real estate software applications, is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to support the creative needs of its web development team in Santa Ana, Calif.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
•Communicate product features through simple intuitive graphic interface systems.
•Create the architecture and logic for navigation systems that are clean, attractive and user friendly.
•Ability to create simulation models to illustrate navigation scenarios.
•Act as a liaison between software development and design teams.
•Work collaboratively with development and marketing teams.
•Provide design direction when working with external development teams and consultants.
•Define expectations and deliverables when working with consultants and accurately evaluate cost estimates on proposals.
•Demonstrate a high degree of proficiency and taste in developing compelling graphic design languages.
•Executing design solutions using a variety of media and interactive technologies
Collaborating with other design, account and technical resources to measure progress and ensure effectiveness of design solutions

Required Experience:
•Highly competent in rich client GUI design, as well as web GUI design (HTML, CSS and JavaScript)
•Strong analytical ability
•Highly sensitive to human behavior and interaction.
•Champion of simplicity.
•Works on problems which are difficult and complex in nature. Must apply critical analysis to navigation logic and arrive at solutions independently.
•3- 5 years experience in graphic design (preferably in a business-to-business setting)
•Strong sense of exceptional design
•Strong verbal and written communication skills – ability to discuss creative ideas and implement them within the required specifications
•Mandatory Proficiency and strong expertise in Adobe CS3 Photoshop, Illustrator and In Design and HTML programming
•Proficiency in Flash / Actionscript,– basic knowledge of Javascript, CSS, XML and PHP a plus
•Ability to produce static and rich media flash banners, micro sites, HTML email
•Solid understanding of coding and design as it relates to the Web in terms of the required technical specifications and limitations
•Ability to work with aggressive deadlines
•Capable of accepting creative direction and working in a team environment

Education:
Bachelor’s degree
