JOB SUMMARY

Operate industrial forklift equipped to move materials around warehouse, as well as loading and unloading shipping containers/truck trailers.

JOB DUTIES
1. Move controls, levers, and devises to drive industrial forklifts to transport materials between loading, unloading, processing and storage areas.

2. Organize and secure materials where bales, boxes, super sacks, pallets, and other materials are stored.

3. Perform routine pre and post inspections on forklift equipment to ensure forklift equipment is operating well.

4. Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms, or lifting devises.

5. Weigh materials or products, and record weight and other production data on tags or labels.

6. Complete forklift operator training annually, provided by company.

7. Consult and work with managers, supervisors, employees, and equipment manufactures to coordinate loading and unloading operations.

8. Complete other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

1. High school diploma or general education degree

2. One year of experience in operating a forklift, and forklift certification3

3. Current Drivers License

4. Stable Work History
