Hello!
My name is Dani and I'm a 23 year old female student at Northeastern University studying to become a high school English teacher. I have been working with kids for the past eight years and am looking for a live-out position with a great family. I babysat for the same family with three kids, two boys and a girl, in high school and through some of college. During my time with them the kids' ages ranged from infancy to 12 years old. Also, for the past four summers I have worked at an overnight camp in New York, for two years as a counselor and for two years as a unit supervisor. There I was responsible for 14 to 16 year olds, both girls and boys, and as a unit supervisor was also in charge of nine counselors. I have also had a few shorter term babysitting jobs as they came up throughout my young adult life.

I am smart, outgoing and responsible. I love kids of all ages and feel I can handle any number, gender and personality type. I'm very creative and I love playing and having fun. I have an extensive theater background, I was a soccer goalie for 9 years, and I love being outside in nature. I think I have a lot to offer kids and I'm committed to working with them for my entire adult life.

To save money this is the first semester that I'm living at home and taking classes online, and depending on my work schedule will possibly be taking classes at night in Boston starting in the spring. Therefore my current availability is wide open and I'm available to start nearly immediately. I am looking to work during the week, and I'm willing to do some weekends upon request. I live in West Concord, and I'm willing to travel anywhere within a half-hour or so drive. I'm in a catch-22 situation at the moment with transportation, but as soon as I find a job whereby I will be able to pay for car insurance, I will have a vehicle within a week.

Please also note that I hold current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications and am a trained lifeguard, although I haven't renewed that certification in several years.
