Our company is currently looking for qualified Energy Consultants to expand our direct sales team in the Texas market. The successful candidate will identify and develop leads and cultivate relationships with small and medium business owners and decision makers. The candidate must like working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, be highly motivated, diligent, and organized with professional appearance and excellent communication/presentation skills. The Energy Consultant will help us achieve revenue and profit goals by joining a team focused on sourcing and closing energy contracts with commercial clients in Texas. This is a team selling environment where continuous and comprehensive training is provided. The Energy Consultant will report to the Regional Sales Manager and Director of Sales.
Qualifications:
* Prospect and secure sales leads within the specific direction of the Regional Sales Manager; this may include cold calling, going door-to-door (B2B), leveraging your own professional network, and tapping other sources as required.
* Ability to engage business owners, managers and plant engineers responsible for cost savings
* Ability to build a pipeline by initially contacting 30 new prospects a day
* Experience with a consultative sales approach
* Organize active prospects; develop pipeline reports and the ability to identify accomplishments and challenges
* Exceptional interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
* Strong ability to acquire and close new business with a successful history of exceeding quota
* Previous work experience in fast-paced environment sales organization
* Computing skills including MS Outlook and MS Office Suite
* Experience with business productivity software and CRM
* Experience using a Blackberry or similar to manage sales activities
