TxMQ is currently assisting their client in the search for a qualified Electronic Maintenance Technician for their manufacturing facility in Warren County, PA.

REPORTING TO: Director of Maintenance and Special Projects

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Perform testing, diagnosis, maintenance and revision work machine tools including NC and CNC controls, PLC hardware and software, control circuits, electro/mechanical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Perform maintenance and repairs on plant power distribution systems
• Perform adjustments, alignments and calibrations on equipment, i.e., grinders, mills, lathes, heat treat furnaces, nitride furnaces, and their control systems
• Supervise and mentor other maintenance personnel
• Train and Develop future Technicians
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required by changing business needs.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Associates Degree in Electronics with 2 years of relevant experience or five years of relevant experience
• Basic knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Basic knowledge of high voltage electrical systems
• Basic knowledge in ladder logic
• Basic knowledge in sequential programming
• Basic knowledge of AC and DC motor drive controls
• Experience with Plant Power Distribution Systems
• Experience with Siemens Step 5 and 7, and 840D Controls
• Experience with Allen Bradley SLC series, 1395 and/or 1397 motor drive controls
• CNC Controls
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints and schematics
• Strong math skills
• Strong problem solving ability
• Ability to work well with a team as well as independently
• Ability to use a multi-meter, amp-meter and oscilloscope
• Strong computer skills including MS Word and MS Excel
• Willingness to work rotating and 12-hour shifts as business needs demand.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
• Experience developing and implement training
• Machine tool experience including major upgrades/revisions both mechanically and with control systems
• Experience developing and implementing preventative maintenance systems
• Supervisory experience

SALARY:
• This salaried EXEMPT position has a targeted range between $39,000 to $50,000, based on individual’s qualifications with reference to the skills and abilities of the position for which he or she is being considered.
• This full-time, direct hire position that includes a competitive benefits package, paid holidays and vacation, personal time, 401(k) and profit sharing.

SCHEDULE:
• This position will be rotating – 4 days on and off – 6am to 6pm and 6pm to 6am.
