Fingerstyle guitar virtuoso Doyle Dykes will give a free concert on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2009 at 7:30 pm at Blacksburg Christian Fellowship (2300 N. Main St., Blacksburg). All are welcome. Doyle is a clinician and signature artist for Taylor Guitars and has played on stage and recorded with the likes of Les Paul, Phil Keaggy, Chet Atkins, Tommy Emmanuel, and many other artists. His playing is influenced by a wide variety of musical styles and musicians from traditional gospel to the rock and roll of Duane Eddy, and from the country sound of Chet Atkins to the Beatles and U2.
