Responsibilities:

· Develop and maintain daily schedules for purchasing of items for Inside Sales, Contract Administrators, and Distribution Centers.

· Schedule all incoming sales orders and quote delivery for purchased items.

· Release quotes and schedule purchase orders.

· Respond to customer / supplier inquiries.

· Coordinate with different Tyco Assembly locations and vendor base to execute customers’ schedules.

· Interface with Engineering department and respond to engineering changes as required.

· Monitor Supplier Performance.

· Work with management and other functional departments to reduce costs and inventory.

· Be accountable for on-time delivery, shipping goals, lead-time, and inventory control.

· Demonstrate dedicated responsibility to follow all company, quality, and safety policies and procedures.

· Maintain cost system.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain.

· Minimum five (5) years experience in Purchasing or Production Planning.

· Proficient in use of Microsoft Office.

· MRP – System experience / Lean – Flow, Kanban systems.

· Strong background with outside purchasing of non-Tyco items (Commodities examples – machine parts, fabrication, special paints, plating, electric & pneumatic actuators, solenoids, limit switches).

· SAP experience preferred.

· CPM or APICS certification a plus.
