Trillium Construction Services is now recruiting for ?Commercial? Concrete Finishers for our projects throughout the states of North Carolina, South Carolina & Virginia! Our Finishers spread concrete to specified depth and workable consistency, using floats to bring water to surface and produce soft topping. These finishers will level, smooth, and shape surfaces of freshly poured concrete, using straight edge and float or power screed, as well as finishing concrete surfaces, using power trowels (both sitdown & walk behind), or wets and rubs concrete with abrasive stone to impart finish. Removes rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces, using power grinder or chisel and hammer and patches holes. Finisher will also be responsible for molding expansion joints and edges, using edging tools, jointers and straight edge.

Must have the experience working on commercial building slabs, curbing, gutters, sidewalks, steps and stairways, etc. using hand tools or power tools, including floats, trowels, and screeds. Experienced in signaling concrete deliverer to position truck to facilitate pouring concrete. Moves discharge chute of truck to direct concrete into forms. Spreads concrete into inaccessible sections of forms, using rake or shovel. Removes rough or defective spots from concrete surfaces, using power grinder or chisel and hammer, and patches holes with fresh concrete or epoxy compound.

Qualifications

- Minimum 5-10 years of commercial concrete finishing.
- Possess all basic concrete finishing hand tools; including floats, trowels, etc.
- Possess all PPE equipment (hardhat, workboots, safety glasses, gloves, reflective safety vest).
- Verifiable employment history.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- Eligible to be employed in the United States. (All employees employment eligibility is verified through the Social Security Administistation / Department of Homeland Security using EVerify and/or Social Security Number Verification System.
