Features & Description
If you share my interest in the never-ending process of learning how to ride and train horses, I encourage you to stop by or call for an appointment. Lessons and training of horse and rider are available for anyone who wants to learn how to develop a supple, independent, and elegant seat. The main focus and emphasis is placed on the correctness, and effectiveness, of the rider's seat, weight, leg, and rein aids. My dressage philosophy is based on developing the horse and rider's balance and suppleness, not the horse's headset and submissiveness.I have recently returned from completing a comprehensive apprenticeship with the USA's very own classical dressage ambassadors - Dr. Thomas and Shana Ritter, previously based out of White Horse Vale Lipizzans. Well trained school horses are available. Although specifically geared towards dressage, I am more than happy to accept riders of all levels and disciplines. Please call Maria at 507-766-3097 for more information - email may not get checked.
Dr. Thomas Ritter has been greatly influenced by his teachers, Egon von Neindorff, Dorothee and Thomas Faltejsek, and Karl Mikolka (all 3 of them students of E. v. Neindorff). Dr. Ritter's website is www.artisticdressage.com
