Must have home health and OASIS experience.OH/WV RN license.
Responsible for the clinical management and supervision of patient care services provided by the agency.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following:
1. Approves requests for services, recertifications, add-on orders and changes.
2. Oversees the scheduling of all patient services.
3. Receives and approves patient’s recertifications and/or discharges.
4. Documents and reports incidents of error and complaints involving scheduling to the Clinical Lead, Director of Clinical Services and/or Administrator.
5. Audits physician’s modified orders for accuracy, legibility and content prior to forwarding to physician’s office for signature.
6. Reviews and signs lab reports. Notifies physician of any clinical facts as they relate to the patient’s condition.
7. Provide services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill. Demonstrates competency in all skills required by the Agency including but not limited to: venipunture, infusion therapy, wound care, and aseptic technique.
8. Conducts in-home supervisory visits.
9. Participates in weekly case conferencing with all disciplines.
10. Attends weekly administrative meetings.
11. Conducts monthly staff meetings with RN’s, LPN’s, Home Health Aides, Therapists and contract staff.
12. Oversees preparation of payroll.
13. Rotates weeknight and weekend on call with clinical staff.
14. Participates in the agency’s quality improvement program.
15. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
