The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in carpentry/construction and general experience with landscaping and building maintenance. Candidates with masonry experience are highly welcomed. Our organization is looking for a flexible hands-on individual with high work ethics and standards to complete various construction projects, building maintenance, and landscaping.
Under general supervision and periodic help from labors, the carpentry/maintenance worker will be expected to be self reliant and independent in achieving the following:

Carpentry and Construction:
Build Decks and Handicap ramps
Repair Masonry and concrete (ability or certification in installing stone, stone veneer, pavers preferred)
Framing, dry walling, finishing, painting
Tile and various bathroom construction and repair.

Maintenance: perform routine manual labor and semi-skilled duties related to the maintenance of facilities and grounds, which include but are not limited to the following:

Service and replace minor plumbing fixtures
Perform minor electrical work, not requiring a licensed electrician, such as replacing light fixtures,switches and wiring , and fuses, etc.
Perform carpentry repairs of walls, stairs, floors, ceiling, windows, doors, roofs, gutters, and locks
Maintain machinery, equipment, and tools by cleaning, lubricating, greasing, and oiling
Clear driveways and walkways of snow and ice
Perform the lawn care (ex: weed, mow, trim) and landscaping needs of all facilities and properties.

Position Requirements:
Certification in in Construction trade(preferred, but not necessary), comfortable with use of e-mail.
Excellent references (personal and work related); Successfully pass a drug test, criminal background check and drug test
Dependability, excellent work ethic, high construction and ethical standards.
Reliable work truck
Experience in general construction, carpentry, maintenance, painting, minor plumbing, and landscaping
Possess the basic equipment and tools (except landscaping and specialty tools or equipement) necessary to perform the position responsibilities
Excellent references (personal and work related); Successfully pass a criminal background check, physical examination, and drug test
