SUMMARY
Weekly review and analysis of Retail Link and IRI data to identify opportunities and develop plans to grow sales volume for company products at Wal-Mart. Assist with monitoring of action plans with Wal-Mart store personnel, brokers and/or internal Wal-Mart.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.

Increase pound sales in specifically assigned areas.

Analyze, develop and present key action plans and reports to Senior Regional Manager for approval that will be implemented at the retail store level. These plans and reports should provide information that will enable sales goals/budgets to be accomplished.

Analyze, develop, problem solve, and present key action plans and reports developed from review of Retail Link data to Senior Region Manager. Implement these action plans at retail utilizing the broker sales team.

Achieve distribution objectives as established by Senior Region Sales Manager.

Develop long term business relationships with all key accounts and broker decision makers.

Conduct quarterly broker and customer evaluations based on goals and standards of performance.

Participate in weekly store calls with broker sales representatives, establish benchmarks, evaluate progress, and recommend action plans to achieve goals.

Train and develop broker sales staff.

Assist in store Grand Opening events. Coordinate all company planning functions; target stores, items for extra space displays.

Assist in analyzing and presenting business trends on a quarterly basis to brokers and Wal-Mart Market Mgrs.

Oversee weekend stocker program.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in business/marketing and two years Retail Link or Sales experience preferred.
Intermediate skill level in use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Would need to live in greater Nashville area -territory would be 500 miles around Nashville -They offer a very good relocation program. Person would be visiting Wal-Mart and Sam's stores and interacting with food brokers and head of meat and frozen departments of the various stores.
