JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Overview

The Business Development Associate (BDA) is responsible for completing a rotational training program that includes learning necessary information regarding our compensation surveys.

Ultimately, upon successful completion of the training program, the BDA assists Account Managers with the sales and services of data-based compensation products and services to global accounts. Maintains existing business relationships and accounts as well as handles other administrative duties as required. This entry level position requires some sales experience and a basic understanding of compensation. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a high desire to learn.

Responsibilities
• Assist with sales and delivery of data related products and services.
• Responsible for lead generation of US-based global multinational companies by contacting established customers and developing new prospects.
• Effectively builds and maintains relationships with global companies.
• Identify and recommends opportunities to increase sales.

Qualifications
• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience
• Must be client focused and have excellent client relationship management skills
• Demonstrated ability to perform in a team environment to ensure smooth, seamless service delivery
• Active listener – able to probe, encourage a prospect to open up; and respond.
• Compensation knowledge preferred
• Experience in a corporate environment, selling professional services preferred
• World at Work coursework preferred
