As a member of the Nuance's Business Consulting Team, the Business Consultant is responsible for the identification of Enterprise Solutions that addresses customer business requirements. Nuance is looking for an individual enthusiastic about the emerging self-service contact center market and has a track record of success in consulting with Enterprise customers. The Business Consultant is responsible for identifying business and technical drivers and will work directly with customers to review and collect the required data to develop short and long term contact center strategies.

Major Responsibilities:

Maintain alliances and build relationships with Enterprise customers.
Plan, coordinate, and execute a comprehensive review of selected customers operations and identify key business drivers and technical requirements.
Interface with Nuance cross-functional teams to develop an overall strategy.
Develop comprehensive solution ROI models and business cases.
Work closely with Nuance Sales and Partners to author customer proposals.
Develop and author case studies, whitepapers, market material to raise awareness of self-service in the Enterprise.

Bachelor's degree in business, management or technology field; MBA preferred.
5-7 years solution consulting experience dealing with customers
Industry or application knowledge in at least one of the following verticals: Financial, Insurance, Utilities, Retail, and/or Healthcare
Extensive experience with Contact Center Operations
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Knowledge of self-service (IVR, DTMF, Speech, CTI, Routing, Reporting, etc.) is desired
Exceptional follow-through and superior organizational skills
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and overcome obstacles to achieve results
Familiarity with the architecture of contact center solutions (IVR, CRM, WFM, etc.) and an ability to talk to customers about the decision points of when to use call center technologies.
Excellent creativity and analytical ability
Technical aptitude with the ability to understand complex products.
Ability to travel (50% of time)
