Features & Description
Boxer Mix, almost 6 years old, female, sprayed and healthy. Her name is Peanut and she needs a loving home. We rescued her when she was just a tiny puppy. It saddens us that we have to part with her, but unfortunately we are moving to a home that only allows one dog (we have two). We tried to give her to our friends or family but no one has room in their home for her, though she is loved. She knows lots of tricks (sit, stay, shake a paw, roll over, speak, etc.) She is house broken and would actually prefer to be indoors next to you, although she is primarily an outside dog. She loves to swim and play fetch (especially in the pool). She loves walks and going to the dog beach in Del Mar. She can't get enough of bones and treats. She is great with our indoor cats and also with small children (we have a 2 year old). She has been used to having a companion dog her whole life, but wouldn't mind being the only dog (she loves being spoiled). In addition, she is great at protecting our house when strangers come around. If you can find it in your heart and home to take in our "Peenie Weenie" (knickname), our guilt would be eased knowing that she'll be with a loving family who loves her as much as we do.
