Up for sale is my 2008 CANAM DS450 EFI with 2 months left on the factory warranty ends: 11/29/09

here is a list of upgrades i have done to it so far:

Front shock covers

Velocity air filter with prefilter

Can-Am digital guage pod, speedo/tach/hourmeter/odo, etc...

Power commander III Efi controller (a must have for any high perfomance efi application)

Yoshimura RS2 slip-on exhaust

Wideband commander 2 with touchscreen LCD display (to monitor AFR for easability in the fine tuning process)

I also need to state that ALL of the factory service bulletins have been done , flywheel bolts, new 9 plate cluch basket with updated side cover, and beefed up rear motor mount

I like to do things the right way not the hack job way and what i mean by this is

Alot of people are doing things to these ds450s to try to make them a little faster and pull harder as cheap as possible like, taking the airbox lid off

and cutting the pink wire on the ecm (instanty voiding the warranty) this unlocks a factory map that is used for adding more fuel when changing a pipe or high flow air filter.

I REFUSE to do any of these things to my machines and would never even consider running an airbox open to the elements or cutting wires!!!!!!

I have owned many atvs in my life from all different makers and i can honestly tell you none of them compare to this machine in any of the following:

ACCELERATION, out of the box it needed a little help on the low end, (like they all do) but after dialing in the EFI for the yoshi pipe and velocity air filter nothing ive owned pulls or accels harder!!!!

SUSPENSION, the suspension on this quad out of the box is phenominal, you would expect to pay thousands for shocks to get a ride like this (it soakes up everything)

HANDLING, with canams new control arm and outset spindle design expect the machine to go where you aim it. NO MORE TIRE SCRUB, OR BUMP STEER

BRAKES, i dont know about you but i have spent alot of money in the past on brakes just to come close to how well these work out of the box

RIDER COMFORT: this feature to me is probably the biggest thing i look for in a quad, if i am not comfortable i get real sore real quick, and so far i am impressed with this quad

The only scuffs on the quad is on the rear grab bar where i poped a wheelie and it scraped the bar i show you this in a picture

I hate to have to sell my quad but times are tough and the family comes first so i have to let it go.
