Currently looking for a well rounded bassist to complete the lineup of a new group forming in the Raliegh/Triangle area (between the ages of 19-21). We lean more towards an Alternative/Experimental/Rock genre. Influences include (but are not limited to) Incubus, A Perfect Circle, Tool, Thursday, As Tall As Lions, Thrice, Circa Survive, The Reign of Kindo, Classic Case, The Mars Volta, Pink Floyd, The Police, Sting, Led Zeppelin, Coheed & Cambria, Dream Theater, R.E.M., Radiohead, Rage Against the Machine, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rush, Santana, Smashing Pumpkins, Sound Garden, The Who, etc.

We are well established in the Raleigh area and have played 100+ shows in the past with acts such as Cartel, Classic Case, Alesana, He Is Legend, Valencia, Scapegoat, Your Name In Vain, Yearling, My Hero Is Me, A Kiss For Jersey, Jimmy Robbins, The Mile After, 33 West, The Hottness, Yosemite Mudflap, The International Drive, Far Less, Box Bomb, Scarlet Undercover, Race the Sun, and several others.

We are not a pop group. We prefer to create music, not a ticket to fame or fortune. We enjoy well constructed, intricate, melodic, and thoughtful music that does not conform to the typical standard of today.

We need an individual who can devote time to being in a band and contribute equally amongst the rest of the members. Also, an individual who has the proper experience, attitude, and equipment. It is not necessary to have the nicest equipment in the world; just a decent bass and rig that would be adequate to play medium, to large venues.

Honestly, we are all very laid back individuals who are easy to get along with and are determined to create meaningful music, and possibly a career. The reason for the context of the former is to sift through the individuals who are not as experienced or serious about music in order to allow us to focus on those who are.
