That money could be used to recapitalize some banks. The Feds are practically refunding your investment after the takeover. Again this would need to be worked on pretty fast. We have identified about 700 banks that are in trouble. Let me know if there is an interest. The bank acquistion team is ready to start immediately. Banks are a much better investment than notes or REOs. Recapitalize a bank and you get it all.

By owning a bank a builder or other successful business person can strengthen his relationship with his own bank. It gives him leverage and influence.

It opens doors that could not otherwise be opened. By networking with his banking peers he will have access to projects he otherwise would never know about, therefore additional profit sources.

Think DIRECT access, finally, to bulk REO. Think mortgages and servicing. Think wealth management. Think loaning 9x deposits.
