Canyon News is a weekly newspaper headquartered in Beverly Hills, CA and we’re looking for dedicated sales reps. The goal of our newspaper is to report the truth in news and to spread the importance of unbiased news. Because of our growing popularity, our company is expanding to your town. We will be a national publication by 2010! We currently have openings for motivated sales executives and entry level sales reps to work from home in Houston (and its surrounding areas).

This position requires you calling up businesses to see if they would like to purchase advertising space in our paper. We will provide you with leads.

We are looking for individuals who are serious, self-disciplined and able to work without supervision. You have the opportunity for a base salary and reduced commission if you reach your quota for 2 consecutive months. We also offer health benefits and the option to relocate if you reach your quota for 6 months.

PAY:

WEEKLY COMMISSION:
1 ad=10%
2 ads=20%
3 ads=30%
4 ads=40%
5 ads=50% (If quota is met). If quota is not met, 10%-40%.

SALARY
Full-Time Reps (working at least 35 hours or more) make $700-$1400 weekly
Part-Time Reps (working at least 2 hours a day) make $500-$700 weekly.

We’re looking for candidates that will have:
-Some experience working in sales or experience doing cold calling (ENTRY LEVEL accepted, as long as you have the drive and motivation to learn)
-A telephone with unlimited long-distance
-Great energy and the ability to talk to people over the phone
-The ability to work independently and build relationships
-Drive and determination to succeed
-Not have been convicted of a felony (required)
