Description

Analyze and resolve cash and general ledger discrepancies for various systems.

Understand risks associated with these breaks to prioritize workload.

Ensure timely reconciliation, analysis and resolution of breaks

Communicate with internal operational departments as needed to develop an action plan for resolution.

Work as part of various project groups designed to improve controls and efficiency.

Identify areas for improvement & work with management to implement recommended changes.

Partner with Corporate Reporting to ensure that our Regulatory Filings are accurate

Requirements

Bachelors degree in Accounting, CPA a plus

3-5 years relevant industry experience, specifically related to Reconciliation/Reporting.

Prior experience with a forensics, account clean up, or large scale operations processing re-engineering

Understanding of Fixed Income Cash and Derivatives products (IRS, Futures, Options, FRAs, Treasury, Loans)

Thorough understanding of accounting principles regarding balance sheet substantiation of Cash, Nostro, Intercompany and Suspense account reconciliations

Experience with third party matching systems a plus
