Job Description:

This Accountant will be responsible to create accounting entries, reconciliations, reports and analysis for general accounting.

Job Duties:
* Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations as part of month-end close.
* Process and post daily purchase transactions from factory.
* Enter inter-company invoices in AP module and coordinate with other Panasonic divisions to agree on intercompany balances.
* Track and report Goods In Transit and Inter-Organization inventories.
* Collect all journal entry and account reconciliation documents and reconcile to data in Oracle.
* Investigate variances and present analysis / explanation of cause.
* Provide general support for reporting, SOX and other areas as needed.

Skills Required:

Accountant Qualifications:
* 4 year degree in Accounting or related studies.
* 1-3 years accounting job experience preferred.
* PC literate, strong in MS Excel (including pivot tables) and experienced with MS Word and report writing or database tools.
* Oracle proficiency preferred.
* Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task.
* Ability to work in a fast paced environment and adaptable to frequent changes in priorities.
* Ability to work as a team player.
* High degree of problem solving skills and attention to detail.
* Must possess a positive attitude and enjoy interacting with others at all levels.
* Must be analytical and able to recognize areas of need and proactively resolve issues.
* Excellent communications skills are required as this position communicates with many worldwide locations.
